I survive it by baking a lot, hopefully with lots of chocolate! Fun giveaways!
I survive the holidays by making sure I take time to destress…and lots of hot cocoa.
I survive the holidays by trying to not feel that I have to “do it all” and to enjoy quiet time with my family.
I survive by planning out everything and shopping online!
I prepare the gifts in advance.
I survive the holiday season by making time to be outside with my dog and not worry about traffic, money, and shopping.

Another way I survive the holidays is to watch funny Christmas movies.
I get through the holidays by trying to keep it all in perspective, and knowing that everything doesn’t have to be ‘perfect’. Even thought I don’t start early, I keep lots of lists and try to do a little (decorating, baking, shopping) bit each day to keep it enjoyable. I try to look it all as fun instead of a chore!
I survive the holidays by leaning on my family. I’m super lucky to have a very caring and understanding hubby and son so they help keep me sane.

I survive the holidays by getting most of my shopping done early, I shop all year for gifts.
I just don’t make a big deal over it. I plan for gifts and only buy for my kids, honestly. Some years I decorate, other years we barely get a tree up. Whatever. 2 of my kids are adults and don’t seem too scarred over my lack of over the top Xmas.

I try to be organized and try to get things done early.
Survival for me means a cup of hot tea each night. I need this to keep me going. Plus, a trip to get a mani pedi helps too.
