Like clockwork, when my kids hit the door after school, you should take cover.
They take over the kitchen and begin raiding the cabinets, pantry and fridge like they’ve never eaten a day in their life. Working fast to find nourishment, they go in search of whatever they can find quickly…and unfortunately, it’s normally not good for them or a good way to lead up to dinner.
To prepare for the “hostile takeover,” I’m loading up on healthy after school snacks for quick ways to meet their immediate hunger needs and my want to fill them with vitamins, protein and the good stuff to make them stronger.
Shamrock Farms aims to inspire busy moms and dads by creating Roxie’s Midday Menu with fun snack ideas that pair perfectly with Roxie’s Midday Menu like:
A great way to give them what they need in a way they will love it is with Shamrock Farms protein-packed mmmmilks now available at select Walmarts in the dairy aisle nationwide for only $1.
