It’s no secret that losing weight has been one of my biggest “mama challenges.”
It’s always been something I’ve had to work at especially since I became a mom. But after looking back at all the amazing photo moments of this year and how much I wanted to Photoshop myself out of them or at least my double chin (and a few other very specific places), I knew I had to do something.
So rather than my normal New Year’s lose weigh bandwagon of diet + workout and maybe budge a little bit, I’ve decided I needed to up the ante. So the bet began.

To begin, everyone puts money into the pot to play – $35 dollars to be exact. After four weeks, whoever’s hit their 4% goal is a winner and splits the pot. Now I bet you are wondering how you know everyone is being truthful when it comes to weigh-in time? The Diet Bet has that all figured out with referees who make sure that everyone is truthful, but never shares your actual weight (score!)
