How much sunscreen do you need?
You need to be putting about 1 ounce on per application (just for reference that’s around the size of a golf ball or shot glass.)

How often should you apply sunscreen?
You need to apply 15 minutes before going out and then reapply every 1.5-2 hours!

NATURAL BUG SPRAY RECIPE
Natural Bug Spray
Ingredients
- 1 cup Distilled water
- 1 cup Witch hazel or rubbing alcohol
- 3–4 TBSP dried herbs including peppermint, spearmint, citronella, lemongrass, lavender, etc. (use at least one mint.)
- Optional: 4-5 cloves.)
Instructions
- Boil water and herbs (in any combination from the above.)
- Mix well, cover and let cool. (You must be patient!)
- Strain herbs out and mix water with witch hazel.
- Store in a spray bottle in a cool place.
- Use as needed.
Notes
- Added bonus: it smells great and is very refreshing to the skin.

I found a new sunscreen that I like because it is not greasy. I actually have not heard of a lot of the ones that you mentioned here so I need to do some more research.

Babyganics and No Ad are two of our favorite brands. They make really great products that are not chalk full of too many chemicals and are actually affordable. This is a great list, I haven’t heard of a lot of these before now!
